Meet the Person Behind Virtual3DPro
I've always had a keen interest in photography and property, with many years of experience buying, renovating and developing properties.
While working at an estate agency in the UK, my boss once told me that selling a property comes down to two things: price and marketing. It's something I've never forgotten.
Around 2017–2018, while living in the Niagara region of Canada, I had the opportunity to start offering Matterport 3D virtual tours. I was immediately fascinated by the technology and the freedom it gave people to explore properties interactively, understand their layouts and experience spaces without physically being there.
I also recognised the practical benefits of 3D floor plans and dollhouse views, particularly through my own experience planning property renovations.
When COVID-19 restricted traditional property viewings, virtual tours became an increasingly valuable way for people to explore properties remotely.
I've Experienced the Benefits First-Hand
While visiting the UK as COVID restrictions were easing, we were looking for our next property renovation project and came across a house in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Thanks to a Matterport 3D virtual tour, we were able to explore the property almost as though we were there, walking through the rooms and getting a real feel for its layout.
We liked what we saw so much that, following the necessary inspections, we purchased the property without ever setting foot inside.
That experience reinforced my belief in the value of interactive 3D tours — helping people explore properties, build confidence and make informed decisions, wherever they happen to be.
Why Virtual3DPro?
Today, through Virtual3DPro, I enjoy helping property owners, real estate professionals, accommodation providers and businesses showcase their spaces in an engaging and informative way.
I believe great photography attracts attention, while interactive 3D tours give potential customers the freedom to explore further, understand a space and decide whether it's right for them.
For me, it's about combining photography, technology and real-world property experience to help people present their spaces at their best.
